Vinay Express News, Australia/Bikaner. Mr. Omkumar Harsh, a resident of Bikaner city, is currently the Honorary Pro Chancellor and Additional Deputy Chancellor of Glocal University, India. He is called Prof. O. K. Harsha. Prof. Harsha is an Australian multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary scientist, teacher, administrator and former vice-chancellor of Glocal University and former deputy chancellor of Tantia University. Prof. Harsha has four research degrees. In 2018, he was awarded the outstanding alumna of New England University, especially in plasma physics, engineering and computer science. He has extensive qualifications in Physics, Engineering and Computer Science like PhD Computer Science Australia, PhD Plasma Physics Agra University, D-SC Plasma Physics Kanpur University, MTech Computer Science Australia, MSc Physics Raj University etc.
In 2012, He was honoured with many prestigious national and international awards such as the Best Engineering University Award in The prestigious National Gaurav Puraskar-2019 and the Best Civilian Award in 2012. His achievements as a researcher revealed in a function of Kanpur University in the year 1990. Prof. Harsh received the first degree of Kanpur University DSC. This title was conferred upon him by Dr. KR Narayan, the former President of India.
In 2018, he was also awarded by the vice-president of India in Glocal University ,the best University of Engineering in north India. He was also honored for his distinguished research work by the associate members of the International Council of Rio, Brazil. Prof. Harsha guided and supervised many students for research work. Many PhD students have accomplished their PhD under his guidance.
According to Prof. Harsha the aim of the present series on physics is to familiarize the students with a very basic knowledge. Which is sometimes abstruse in books. Prof. Harsh gives the new generation of students the answers to their questions in a different way. He told that he would launch a website to do prompt communication with students directly in both Hindi and English language. On which, by answering the students’ questions, he will share his knowledge in the field of education .
